Creative Web / Digital Media Producer
Individually, and with other artists, designers, filmmakers and technologists, I have
developed websites, created online projects/campaigns and produced digital media for the web and other outcomes. I have advised arts organisations on engaging audiences online. Clients include:
- LET (Liberating Empty Terrain) – digital media commission, current: an online campaign combining video with social media to accompany a programme of funded creative activities over Pennine Lancashire. - Sheffield Contemporary Art Forum: Advised on online audience engagement, produced audio & video podcasts for Art Sheffield 2010 and Art Sheffield 2008 websites (artist interviews, guided art-walk, intros to venues).
- Site Gallery, Sheffield : Production of videos for the web documenting Transmission, a series of artist talks at Showroom cinema, Sheffield.
- British Federation of Film Societies (2009): Design for the print publication – The Community Cinema Sourcebook (nationally distributed).

- Queer up North Festival, Manchester: Video production and DVD authoring.

- Yorkshire ArtSpace Society: Production of video podcasts feeding into the evaluation of an international artist’s residency.
- Sarah Staton: Translation of artist’s drawings into print-ready formats for a range of merchandise on sale at Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

I take an interdisciplinary approach to making art often working in collaboration with others. I have been a member of art group ‘Anachron-Gen’ since 2005, focused on producing/curating exhibitions and web projects alongside a changing line up of artists. The group’s core comprises myself, Sean Williams (Sheffield) and Kate Allen (London).
